As much as Airdrop is great marketing now, it’s always good not to promote it excessively as we’ve seen it attract sybils and bots in other projects.
Surprise Airdrops have always been the best IMO. Look at the likes of $Pyth, $DYM, and Arbitrum; all happened when no one expected them. As for DYM and Pyth, it took the names of the projects to another level of reach after they announced the drop.
I would like to hear the community’s thoughts about this; what are your thoughts and ideas about airdrop promotion?
